Girls
The Berowra Cricket Club will once again be entering a Stage 1 Girls team in the HK&HDCA all girls cricket competition to be played on Friday nights. This will see the girls play actual games of cricket (16 overs per side) against other teams within the Association. All girls will have a chance to enhance their core skills in an inclusive team environment.
Girls Friday Evening Cricket Competition to be held on Friday Nights from 6pm to 8pm.
Ages range from 10 – 14 but please reach out and contact us if your child is either side of this age group for more information. For younger girls years 5-8 we have our Blasters program which runs on a Saturday morning for about 2 hours.
Registrations for season 23/24 will open July 2023. Registration will include a BCC playing shirt and club cap (if required).
Equipment: The club provides a full kit containing helmets, pads and gloves. Players are welcome to bring their own equipment if they have it. Please note even with the softer ball helmets are compulsory.
Competition Details
Competition to Commence first Friday night after Daylights savings commences in NSW. Friday October 13th (week after October NSW School Holidays). No Games over the Christmas School Holiday period from December 16th to January 20th. Finishing the same week in March as the regular Juniors Mixed Saturday morning competition.

History 2022/23 – First year of junior girls cricket
Our girls team, who for many this was their first year playing cricket came to together quickly and showed great skills, team work and brought a great sense of fun to each game. It was a delight to see their training and games punctured by many a dance moves and laughter. In our first season playing the team showed great skills and only lost one game all season with everyone contributing and enjoying our first season.
Age group: 10-14 (please reach out and contact us if your child is either side of this age group for more information)
Teams: Stage 1 Combined Age Group
Game Length: Aprox 2 Hours
Season: Mid-October to Mid-March (Friday Night Games)
